Hi Class. Today, we will look at the requirements for the “Significant Connections” assessment, which will be ultimately be put together in the latter half of Term 3. The purpose of this introduction is to explain how connections can be made across texts and how you can record relevant information from the texts that you choose. Our class texts: “Touching the Void” and subsidiary text: “Into Thin Air” can be used for this assessment. We will also discuss an additional reading list that our school librarian, Florence, has compiled for this unit.
